What is a pre-market?

Trading in a pre-market enable you to trade illiquid assets you could not trade otherwise. This can be either a token you are trading before its TGE, a point you are trading leading up to its token airdrop/TGE or even unvested positions you cannot trade on the market due to their vesting.

The market works over-the-counter (OTC) and connects sellers holding the assets with buyers looking to get exposure to said asset at pre-agreed-upon prices ahead of time.

Does having a pre-market affect token price upon TGE?

A pre-market merely reflects market sentiment, and there is no evidence to suggest it might affect token price upon TGE. Both pre-market and post-TGE pricing are ultimately driven by supply and demand. See a detailed analysis of this matter here.

What do I do during settlement?

If you are a seller, go to your "My Profile" page and click "Settle" next to any orders that are pending settlement. If you don't, you will lose your pledged collateral.

If you are a buyer, you need only wait for sellers to complete their settlement actions to know whether you will receive your promised tokens or the seller's collateral.

What if projects delay TGE or token listing?

In such a situation, we will delay settlement date to match the aforementioned event. All trades in the market will stand and not be impacted, completed or otherwise.

What are the fees?

Mysticswap charges a flat 1% fee on all completed trades or portions of trades (in case of partial filling), regardless of whether the seller settles the order.

Can I cancel orders?

You cannot cancel completed trades. You can, however, cancel any unfulfilled buy/sell offers you have in the market, as well as partially filled positions. If you cancel a partial order, you will receive collateral for the unfilled portion of the trade only.

Why should I trade in a pre-market?

Pre-market trading allows sellers to derisk their position by unloading their positions earlier. In addition, it enables buyers to access tokens at potentially better prices compared to post-launch trading.
